
A violent accident, which ended in a rollover, took place on Monday morning on Highway 30 in the ramp to Highway 20 East.
A police pursuit gone bad would potentially be the cause of the event.

According to what our reporter Audrey Folliot was able to observe at the scene, the person driving the stolen vehicle would then have mowed down a lamppost before ending his run on the roof, in the on-ramp to Highway 20 East.
The on-ramp for Highway 20 East and 20 West at Highway 30 East in Boucherville has been completely closed for at least 5:45 a.m.
The accident reportedly happened around 04:00.
The file was transferred to the Bureau of Independent Investigations (BEI) as it would involve the police.
Employees of the Ministry of Transport are on site to ease traffic.
The section could be closed for several more hours; it will therefore be necessary to plan an alternative route if traveling in the sector.
